This is the index of Skillsail developer resources. Use it when you are connecting an agent, an MCP client, or an HTTP client to Skillsail.
Skillsail's product API for course authoring is the Skillsail MCP server. REST discovery documents describe that server, OAuth, and service health. Skillsail does not publish a public outbound webhook API for course events.

Skillsail API and OpenAPI
The machine-readable Skillsail OpenAPI document is https://skillsail.com/openapi.json. It describes public REST discovery endpoints and the authenticated MCP transport. Human-readable API rules live in the Skillsail API guide, including the typed RFC 9457 error model and the v1 versioning policy.
Skillsail auth
Agent authentication is OAuth 2.0 through WorkOS AuthKit. Start with https://skillsail.com/auth.md, then read:
- https://skillsail.com/.well-known/oauth-authorization-server
- https://skillsail.com/.well-known/oauth-protected-resource/mcp
Call https://skillsail.com/mcp with a user-authorized Bearer token after the user signs in and consents. Skillsail does not offer anonymous MCP access.
Skillsail MCP server
The Skillsail MCP server is the write API for modules, slides, quizzes, translations, publishing, versions, sharing, and exports. Connect from an assistant using the MCP overview and connection guide. The server card is https://skillsail.com/.well-known/mcp.json.
Skillsail webhooks
Skillsail does not publish a public outbound webhook API that agents can subscribe to for course or workspace events. Use the Skillsail MCP server for those jobs.
Inbound webhooks that Skillsail consumes (Stripe billing, Telegram, Slack, and Microsoft Teams) are platform infrastructure. They are not a customer-callable developer surface and are not documented as a public REST webhook hub.
