Skillsail helps you create interactive learning modules with the help of AI. You describe the training you want, and Skillsail drafts the slides, quiz questions, and interactive activities. You can keep editing, translate into other languages, attach images and voiceover, and finally share the module as a public link, a reusable template, or an exported package. These guides are for the people who use Skillsail to build trainings — course authors, trainers, and learning and development teams.

How a module is built

Usage and billing

Review shared credits, manage your plan, and open billing settings.

Deleting an organization

How organization admins can delete a workspace and what happens to the data.

What you can do with Skillsail

  • Generate a draft module from a single prompt and then edit it slide by slide.
  • Mix structured slides, scored quiz questions, and free-form interactive activities.
  • Translate a module into multiple languages automatically.
  • Add images, video, and voiceover to slides.
  • Set completion rules: a learner finishes by viewing everything, or by scoring above a chosen percentage.
  • Share modules as public links, optionally protected by a passphrase.
  • Publish a module as a template that other people can copy into their own workspace.
  • Export a module as a SCORM 1.2, SCORM 2004, xAPI, or cmi5 package and upload it to your LMS — or as a standalone HTML5 package for any web server.
  • Review shared credits, manage your plan, open billing settings, and inspect recent usage.
  • Delete an organization from Settings when you are an organization admin.

How the docs are organized

  • Concepts — what slides, questions, languages, themes, completion rules, media, sharing, and versions actually mean inside Skillsail.
  • Interactive content — when to use the more flexible activity format and how to brief Skillsail.
  • AI assistants (MCP) — connect an outside AI assistant to your Skillsail workspace, plus a tool reference and recipes for common tasks.
  • Reference — templates, usage and billing, organization deletion, and the product changelog.
The Skillsail product UI is available in English, German, and Spanish. Some pages of these docs are also localized; the most up-to-date version is always in English.
