How it works
Open Agent channels
In Skillsail, open Settings, then Agent channels, and choose Connect Telegram. Skillsail creates a personal connect link for you.
Press Start in Telegram
The link opens a chat with the Skillsail bot. Press Start and the bot confirms your account is connected.
Send an idea, a photo, or a PDF
Message the bot like you would the web chat: 'Build a 5-slide onboarding module', or attach a checklist to turn into training.

Frequently asked questions
- Can I create an eLearning course from my phone?
- Yes. Message the Skillsail bot in Telegram and it creates and edits complete modules with slides, quiz questions, and activities. Everything is saved in your Skillsail workspace, where you can keep polishing on the web and export for your LMS.
- What can I send the bot?
- Anything you would type in the Skillsail web chat, plus photos and PDF files. Attach a checklist or a photo of a manual and ask the assistant to turn it into a module.
- Does it work in group chats?
- Yes. Add the bot to a Telegram group and it stays quiet unless you mention it by username, reply to one of its messages, or start a message with a command. In a private chat, every message reaches the assistant.
- How do I connect my Telegram account?
- In Skillsail, open Settings, then Agent channels, and choose Connect Telegram. Open your personal link and press Start in the bot chat. Links are single use and expire after 15 minutes; you can always generate a new one.
- Can one Telegram account connect to several Skillsail accounts?
- No. A Telegram account is connected to one Skillsail account at a time. To switch, disconnect it in Settings first and connect again from the other account.
- Do I need a Skillsail account?
- Yes. The Telegram assistant is part of Skillsail plans and works with the modules in your organization. Sign up, connect Telegram in Settings, and send your first idea from anywhere.
